Self taught artist, originally from Mexico City and based in Dubai since 2021.

Jose Roberto’s technique is highly influenced by traditional Pre-hispanic Mexican Art, Graffitti & Fine Arts. After relocating to the UAE, elements of the arab culture are visible in his work, along the vibrant colors of mexican folklore.

Jose has participated in numerous public and private initiatives and exhibitions. As well as being a jury member in the National Art Expressions (NAE) Program implemented under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).

Jose’s work restores a spiritual and narrative function to the image, where symbols do not explain but invite interpretation. The human presence remains central, even when masked, divided, or transformed, suggesting an ongoing reflection on identity, duality, and the relationship between individual consciousness and collective memory. The result is a coherent and immediate visual language that bridges instinct and intention, tradition and contemporaneity, positioning the artwork as a threshold between the visible and the invisible.
